Hyperborean Fire Productions proudly announces its latest artistic collaboration with MORS, culminating in the release of their highly anticipated debut album, VLTRA MORTEM ET INFERA. A masterful confluence of talent and vision, the album stands as a testament to the relentless dedication and creativity of its contributors.
All music was meticulously composed by Bazzy, whose artistry is the driving force behind the album’s instrumental foundation. Bazzy also took charge of recording the guitars, bass, and drums, crafting a soundscape that is both powerful and haunting.
The evocative main vocals and profound lyrics were delivered by Yr-nhhngr, whose voice resonates with unearthly intensity, while the second voices, adding depth and contrast, were recorded by Vèrfarkas. Together, they breathe life into the album’s dark and immersive themes.
The recording and production were skillfully handled by Bazzy at the studios of Isola S. in Arosio, Como, where the album’s raw essence was captured with precision. Further elevating the sound, reamping, mixing, and mastering were entrusted to Gabriele Gramaglia of Crepuscolar Sound Studio in Milan, ensuring the final product radiates aural excellence.
Visually, the album is equally striking. The cover artwork, a collaborative creation by Bazzy and Vèrfarkas, seamlessly aligns with the album’s themes, while the intricate columbarium design—a handcrafted masterpiece by Manuel Scapinello—adds a tangible layer of artistry. Francesco Gemelli’s curation of the work ensures that every element is presented with meticulous attention to detail.
