ABOUT

THE VOID is an underground music journal , founded by Paula Fazlich (Morthriel) in Sofia, Bulgaria. The website was officially launched during the mystical night of January 5th to 6th, 2017.  Rooted in the shadows of the music world, it has since become a dedicated beacon for those seeking to explore the depths of underground soundscapes, offering insight into the raw, enigmatic, and often overlooked corners of the music scene.

The idea behind it is clear from the very  beginning – to pay due respect to the lesser known and specific dark sounds of the Balkan and global underground, especially when it comes to the black metal genre.

As an ideology, ‘The Journal’ or ‘THE VOID’, as many of you call it, supports the belief that the dark Arts and culture are the main tool to fight the mediocre thinking and way of life, to fight against the limitations of society.
In other words, this is not just a website, but a symbol of rebellion against society, against its lower manifestations.
And furthermore, following the path of Luciferianism as a philosophy, the website encourages the power of the individualist and the rising of personal enlightenment.
