The French black/death metallers SKAPHOS
unveiled their new song, “Abyssal
Tower”!
The track is part from the upcoming album of the band, titled “Cult
of Uzura”, scheduled for release this year via their newly formed
connection with the label Transcending Obscurity Records.
Transcending Obscurity Records statement on the new
signing:
“We’re thrilled to work with the French band Skaphos, who’ve
upped the ante on their new album. I always felt they had the
potential to evolve and get better and they have most certainly
done that on this one. They’re playing savage, punchy and merciless
black/death metal which is spiked with dissonance and steeped in
mysticism. The result is a well-rounded and thoroughly satisfying
expression of black/death metal that also happens to be insanely
heavy.”
