The Swedish black metallers Scitalis have
released their new album,
“Maledictum”.
The record is distributed by the well-known German label Vendetta
Records.
“Maledictum” dives into the suffering endured by women during the
Swedish witch trials, blending melodies that embody despair and
agony with furious riffs and drums that channel humanity’s wrath.
The band’s evolving lineup is reflected throughout Maledictum. With
new members W and L joining, Scitalis describes this album as a
departure from their previous work, both in its musical style and
in the creative process behind it. The result is a raw, emotional
record that captures the agony and anger of the time while
showcasing the band’s growth and uncompromising approach to black
metal.
