The German black/death metal horde Sum Lights has erupted from
the shadows with their latest EP, “Dissolve | Emerge”. A tempest of
dark, immersive soundscapes and unrelenting intensity, the release
is now available in digital format, with a limited cassette edition
expected to ship around April 30th.
Self-released and forged in the depths of the band’s own rehearsal
space, the EP encapsulates raw power and unfiltered expression. It
was mastered at FiveLakes Studio, while the visual manifestation of
this offering comes courtesy of Belial NecroArts, capturing the
EP’s dual nature—dissolution and re-emergence—through stark,
