Ukrainian black/death metal veterans Def/Light have announced September 19th as the international release date for their highly anticipated fifth full-length album, “Stygian Conclave”. Picking up where their latest EP “Eternal Reign” left off, the album promises to delve even deeper into the band’s signature blend of blackened death metal and atmospheric grandeur.
Formed in Dnipro, Ukraine in 2001, Def/Light have built a formidable legacy with seven releases and numerous European tours under their belt. Since 2017, the project has evolved into a focused international studio collaboration between two core members — sharpening its creative vision while retaining the weight and intensity that has defined their sound for over two decades. “Stygian Conclave” stands as a testament to their resilience, sonic maturity, and uncompromising artistic spirit.
