The US solo atmospheric black metal project Deadland emerges
once again from the shadows with a powerful new EP, “The
Incantation”. Released via Ordovician Records, the record delivers
nearly 25 minutes of immersive and emotionally dense soundscapes
that channel solitude, transcendence, and elemental darkness.
Crafted entirely in June 2024 , the music was recorded, mixed,
and mastered at Signaturetone Recording in Minneapolis. The
striking cover artwork, titled “The Banquet”, is the work of artist
Dillon Samuelson, whose eerie visual style perfectly matches the
EP’s tone.
