“Inheritor is a rebirth of the sound of Highborne giving it a more ambient/atmospheric sound first experimented on Visions of Retribution. Archon abandons the typical idea of what a Highborne record is and gives something new. Inheritor is inspired by doom-like atmospheres, haunting forests at night, and the realm of the forest night overall.

It is a concept album, about realization/forgiveness. –
Through the journey of life and upon realizing the demons that have always been there you must accept the darkness and forgive and look to the future.

Wandering through nature with a sense of dread and impending death. However, through the trance of nature’s surroundings you find yourself bound to the darkness. Then demons of the past haunt you revealing your darkest secrets, and causing havoc upon life through the form of depression. Through it all, you find yourself forgiving and gaining control over your demons once again, despite who it makes you.”
