The Finnish Folk / Black Metal band Metsän
alttari has released their self-titled debut album via
Inverse Records.
The debut album consists of seven songs with themes ranging from
heroic to gloomy and blissful. Most of the songs are made between
2023-2024 but some of the material is much older and has been
refined afterwards.
Nuanced with folk music and spiced with the darkness of black
metal and the grandeur of power metal, this is a music you’d be
willing to witness. The songs also contain beautiful
melodies, evil riffs, growls, epic choruses and poetic Finnish
lyrics…
