Swedish one-man black metal band Gnipahålan has
unleashed its third full-length opus, Folkstorm! The album
is available through the esteemed labels Mysticism Productions and
Purity Through Fire, delivering a chilling journey into the frozen
depths of the past…
The music, composed and recorded in August 2016, sees
Swartadauthuz performing all strings and vocals, with session drums
contributed by K, recorded in late 2017. Every track bears the
haunting signature of Swartadauthuz, except for “Karolinernas
Dödsmarsch” (trad.), a grim and foreboding piece that sets the
deathly tone for the entire album.
