Austrian black metal band ArsGoatia has
unveiled their second full-length album, „Agitators Of
Hysteria“, released earlier this month via Vàn
Records/Soulfood Distribution/Lichtmess Moon/Candlemass.
The cover idea and creation are fruit of Cartismandua’s
imagination, with graphic refinement by Irrwisch.

„Agitators Of Hysteria“ contains furious outbursts, emerging from the bottom of an impenetrable abyss, preaching Luciferian truths, imbued with perversion, sinister malice, unrelenting violence and death. The band is decribing the scenery:
“Agitators! The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. Fear is the parent of cruelty. Fear of the mysterious, fear of defeat, fear of death. And therefore it is no wonder if cruelty and religion have gone hand in hand. Hysteria is a modern disease born of fear and as a source of untold misery to the human race…”
The band let their imaginations run wild, unleashing every demonic thought and curse within seven searing anthems. We witness an enveloping composition that captivates with its expressive vocals, varying tempo and various vocal techniques – from demonic muffled high-pitched cries to distinct appeals. A psychedelic experience is promised from the very first song.
Amazing is the production of „Agitators Of Hysteria“. The album was recorded and mixed at Q7 Studios/Germany by Michael Zech (The Ruins Of Beverast, Ascension, Hell Militia) and mastered at the Woodshed Studios/Germany by V.
