The US black metal duo KVELDSTIMER has
unveiled the first preview track from its upcoming debut album,
“The Cursed Oak”. The record will be self-released
by the band on April 1st.
All mixing and mastering was done by Azeruel Woldaeg (guitars,
bass, synths at KVELDSTIMER), while the photograph used in
the cover artwork, was taken by Patrick Næss.
Hidden under the mysterious veil of night, “The Cursed Oak” is a
tale of the dance of the shadows among the frozen woods, under the
pale moonlight.
“…The cursed oak writhes through
the frozen drafts
The winds dance among the shadows
Of a time lost and forgotten by war and loss
The withering bark clasps to the light of the moon
And the folk return to the woods under the crescent cloven god
once more…”
