After four years, Zeegang returns with a third
fulllength record. Songs dealing with the inevitability of despair,
the hopelessness when feeling an abyss growing around you, and the
struggle that hope is. A reminder that despondency can always
strike at any moment, yet amongst the coldness of this earth, it is
up to us to find a fire to warm ourselves to. “Van
niets uit deze wereld” is an acceptance of
overwhelming despair. Through this, we allow ourselves to see
beauty once again, and agony slowly fades away. The record weaves
lengthy audial mantras in the form of dreamy atmospheric black
metal as testimonies to these central themes. The cover art
drawing is a work of Christiaan Andriessen (1775-1846)
LP version to follow in late March/early April through
Poisonous Sorcery , copies will
also be available in due time via Chronos Defied.
