In the ever-evolving world of underground black metal,  a new force emerges. Varkonic Telepathy, the latest project from U.S. musician Nort (known for his work with Borda’s Rope and Luminous Transfixion), delivers an auditory séance with its debut full-length album, “The Varkonic Suites”.

Spanning 53 minutes, this release unfolds through two immersive and sprawling suites, pulling the listener into a hypnotic, trance-like state. The music, deeply rooted in raw black metal traditions, eschews conventional song structures in favor of expansive, flowing compositions that feel less like separate tracks and more like evolving soundscapes. Drenched in lo-fi production, the album maintains a spectral quality—an eerie dissonance that seeps through each riff and permeates the atmosphere like a lingering specter.
