The Finnish black metal band Beleth’s Trumpet unveils the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album, “Chapel of Bones”. The record is scheduled for release on July 1st through Dominance of Darkness Records (CD & LP formats) and Korpituli Productions (Digital & Tape editions). Dark, brooding, and steeped in malevolent energy, “Chapel of Bones” marks a significant step forward for the band as they prepare to channel their vision into a complete sonic ritual.
What to expect?
Black metal from Northern Finland for the glory of Satan in the
melodic and melancholic Finnish Black Metal Tradition.
After two sold-out editions of their 2024 demo tape they return with “Chapel of Bones”, their highly anticipated debut album. Everything that earmarked that demo is amplified here: songwriting full of freezing fire, austere ‘n’ arrogant execution, fully-felt physicality and yet no shortage of mystical atmosphere. For sure, BELETH’S TRUMPET remain committed to their aesthetic – not for nothing has Finnish black metal become THE reigning paradigm since the dawn of this cursed millennium – but across the seven-song / 43-minute album do they display subtle degrees of development; black metal doesn’t need to “be” anything other than black metal, after all. Thus, grim ‘n’ glorious waves of early 2000s nostalgia shimmer across this “Chapel of Bones”, for it is dedicated to the timeless King, Death itself. With the scent of bottomless graves and the sound of clattering bones, they blow the BELETH’S TRUMPET!
“A monument for those who walked this path before me…”
