Italian blackened death metal force Patristic have unleashed their new full-length album, “Catechesis”, a dense and ferocious testament to theological collapse and ecstatic blasphemy. The record is out now via Willowtip Records and is available for streaming and digital purchase.
All music and lyrics were written and recorded by E.S. and Sathrath. The drums were captured by Stefano Morabito at 16th Cellar Studios in October MMXXIII, while the vocals were recorded by Davide Gorrini at BeastCave Studio in December MMXXIII. Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Michael Zech at The Source Studios between January and May MMXXIV. The artwork was drawn by Manuel Scapinello, with the layout crafted by Dema Novakova.
PATRISTIC was born from the ashes of Roman Empire, pagan lust for life and philosophical opulence, then demeaned and mortified by the fathers of the one true god. Centuries lasting like the last dream before awakening. PATRISTIC’s “Catechesis” is the soundtrack of the age of quiet chaos between the classic world, paganism and the impending shadow of the cross.
