The Greek black metal masters ORDER OF THE EBON HAND return with a first glimpse into their upcoming offering, ORDER OF THE EBON HAND, “XI: Justice”! The album will be co-released between Satanath Records (Georgia, [email protected]) and WP And RO Productions (Netherlands, [email protected]) on October 22nd.

ORDER OF THE EBON HAND were formed in the late summer of 1994. Their purpose from the beginning was, and still is, to play archetypal Black Metal. They have released 3 albums: “A Mystic Path to the Netherworld” 1997 by Hypervorea Records, “XV: The Devil” 2005 by Season Of Mist and “VII: The Chariot” 2019 by Satanath Records. Apart from their debut, each album actually represents a Tarot card seen through a Black Metal spectrum. Order Of The Ebon Hand has also contributed to numerous compilations, the most notable being “Order of the Tyrants” honouring the emblematic Celtic Frost. They have played live with numerous bands, some of the most notable names being: Slayer, Rotting Christ, Candlemass, Accept, Therion, Αbbath, Nightfall, Dismember, Wolves in the Throne Room, Negura Bunget.

The fourth album “XI: Justice” tells about another Tarot card. Justice is a card that symbolizes equality, honesty, impartiality and the triumph of the right in the law, as well as the consequences of one’s actions and decisions. In the upright position, it indicates the need to make balanced and rational decisions, carefully analyze the facts and be meticulous in all matters. In the inverted position, the card can foretell difficulties, fanaticism, bias and excessive strictness… Meet 11 songs and 70 minutes of furious and epic Black Metal, which is currently the pinnacle of the project’s creative path!

All music was recorded and engineered by Asmodeus at Marble Mountain Music, while the mixing and mastering was done by Victor Santura at Woodshed Studios. The artwork was crafted by Nikos Aslanidis.
