After many years shrouded in silence, the Canadian black metal legends Veneficium emerge once more  with a new and commanding EP, “Grand Black Maelstrom Mysticism”. As consuming and enchanting as only this horde could conjure, the release stands as a testament to pure infernal devotion. Mixed and mastered by La Boîte Noire and adorned with artwork by Chimère Noire, this black opus emanates true satanic strength – a vortex of darkness woven with venomous grace and unholy sophistication.

Veneficium  appear in their original lineup, with one additional musician  added to the horde – D. R., who plays the keys and orchestrations in the album. After two demos, split album and one full-length, “De Occulta Philosophia – A Missae Tenebrae”, released in 2008 by Sepulchral Productions, the bestial gathering is set to devour again with their new arrival, “Grand Black Maelstrom Mysticism” – a fascinating prelude to a way darker realms.
