Hailing from Sweden, the well-known black/death metallers IN AETERNUM return with a first glimpse into their forthcoming opus. Founded in the early nineties, IN AETERNUM stormed the scene for many years with 4 full-length albums, several EPs and extensive tours before going into hibernation for an indefinite time. Now the band has been resurrected, is stronger than ever and a brand new album has been recorded with the same line-up from 20 years ago!

Titled “…Of Death and Fire”, the new album brings you eleven tracks of ripping & thrashing blackened death metal for fans of Dissection, At The Gates and Sacramentum, to name a few. The music was produced by In Aeternum and Gord Olson, and was recorded in the summer of 2025 with the drums being recorded at Studio Cave and engineered by Pontus Ekwall. The vocals, guitars & bass were recorded at Lion’s Den Studio, and engineered by Daniel Sahlin. All vocal arrangements were crafted by David Larsson & Daniel Sahlin, and were mixed and mastered by Gord Olson at Origo Mali Studio, Canada. Guest vocals appear on “To Those Who Have Rode On” by Erik Danielsson.

“…Of Death and Fire” will be released on February 6th via Soulseller Records.
