HIEROPHANY is the new entity, born to serve the creative force of the musicians from the well-known Mexican black metal band BLACK HATE (the band has changed their name to Hierophany earlier this year for creative and personal reasons). Their debut album under this moniker, “Tenebrario”, is now streaming in full, and is about to be officially released on December 12  via Serpent Sun Records (CD/LP/Digital). All songs were mixed & Mastered by Simón Da Silva at The Empty Hall Studio. The music was recorded & composed between 2022 & 2025 by IkanunnaBg. The cover artwork was crafted by Denis Forkas.

From the fierce and murky depths of Mexico, Hierophany’s “Tenebrario” is cast from the unending waves of Ain. This piece is a hymn, a chant of Death and Shadow. As the candles dim at the altar of God, the presence of the Apostate grows and envelops the Flesh of Humanity.To build a Temple. To sacrifice a lamb. To understand the pulsating flesh and its mortality. Such is the aim of the poetry contained within. 2025 marks a new dawn for Hierophany ushering in a sound that is fierce, malevolent, dark and atmospheric – it is time to enter the darkness and succumb to “Tenebrario”…
