After a decade in the underground, German black metallers  SUREMAD rise above the void to bring forth their sophomore full-length offering, “Memento Mori”. The album was recorded in September last year  at LIQUID AETHER Audio, Germany, and later mixed and mastered by Mario Dahmen. Additional Vocals on “Vom Niedergang” and “Non Omnis Moriar” wer contributed by Josefine Hoffmann. The cover artwork and illustration of „the death“ were crafted by Mortemraw.

Piercing riffs, pummeling drums and an always present sense for stirring melodies are the foundational pillars of a sound, which closes the stylistic gap between Scandinavian second wave black metal and modern death metal savagery. Get engulfed in an unrelenting maelstrom of abysmal anger, fury and desperation in its purest form… In Death we trust. Memento mori.

“Our time here is resticted. This knowledge of the consciousness of life and everything around is hunting humanity in their worst nightmares. In death we are all equal…” –  states the band.
