Thus, the release sees two fierce forces of the Norwegian underground joining together for a raw and deeply atmospheric journey into classic Scandinavian black metal. Rooted in the grim spirit of the ’90s scene, both Enevelde and Gjendød deliver four new tracks steeped in darkness, melancholy and windswept Nordic mysticism. Released through Terratur Possessions, this split avoids modern overproduction in favor of cold riffs, haunting atmospheres and pure Norwegian black metal essence.
