Hailing from the forests of Wales, solo black metal/ dungeon synth entity Ysbrydnos reveals its second full-length offering, “Welsh Mythical Darkness”. The release is out via Repose Records (CD), Nocturnal Curse Records (CD & Digital) and Dale of Shadows (Cassette).All instruments were handled by Ysbryd, as well as the mixing process. Guest solos on ‘Welsh Mythical Darkness’ were done by Splatterpvnk. The cover artwork was captured by Toby Van De Velde.

Acting as a miniature epic, the album delves between forestial dungeon synth and abruptly erupting into valorous, raw black metal, interspersed with mysterious rhythms and cold ambient passages. “Welsh Mythical Darkness” is a captivating journey into ancient folklore, where Ysbrydnos weave atmospheric black metal with a profound sense of  tradition. The album balances haunting melodies, immersive ambience, and raw intensity, creating a deeply evocative experience for the listener, offering a memorable tribute to the mysticism and legends of Wales.
