Hailing from Canada, the sci-fi themed black metal band ENDSPACE joined forces with Transcending Obscurity Records. Together with the signing announcement, the musicians also reveal the first transmission from their forthcoming debut offering, “First Contact”, to be released soon through the label (more information to come) .

The label states: “We’re thrilled to work with a band sounding as unique and refreshing as Endspace. After listening to extreme metal music for decades, it’s great to still be surprised by new music and this is the kind of stuff that truly excites us. Explore their wild, outrageous interpretation of sci-fi black metal music on their debut full length ‘First Contact’.”

Band’s statement: “Endspace came from a hunger to explore beyond the scope of what was possible with our death metal band Fractal Generator. After jamming and writing together for 13 years, we wanted to create something more black metal, but also to push the genre 1000 years into the future with heavy use of synthesizers and vocoders. The result is an epic, otherworldly experience that leaves you wondering what planet and what year these futuristic sounds came from! We’re really excited to be working with Transcending Obscurity Records. We feel it’s a great fit because they’re not afraid to support unique and interesting bands that push genre boundaries. We also like that they put a ton of work into their merch offerings, and the fact that they also run a cat shelter is really cool! Can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on!
