Hailing from Ukraine, black metal wanderers Mørkt Tre reveal their 4th full-length offering, “Карпатські Містерії” (“Carpathian Mysteries”). The album is out now via Darker than Black Records. All mixing and mastering was handled by Simón Da Silva at The Empty Hall Studio. The cover artwork was cradted by Dvodushnyk, with additional design by Dmytro Makarchuk.

“Карпатські Містерії” was created in memory of Mykola “Amorth” Sostin (22.06.1985 – 29.10.2024).The album contains six new anthems , unveiling the splendor and glory of the Carpathian nature and mysteries. Deeply rooted in the secrets of Ukrainian folklore, the album reveals stories from the darkest corners of the mountains – the lyrics tell the fascinating dark stories of entities like bosorkanya – a mythical witch or malevolent female spirit from Carpathian and Central/Eastern European folklore, typically depicted as old, cunning woman or shapeshifters living in forest huts who cast hexes, control the weather, and steal milk. Thinning the veil between the oldest beliefs , life and Death itself, the offering is unleashing its pure  philosophical view through poetry, steeped in folklore, magnificent beauty and horror.
