US black metallers Stryga reveal the first glimpse into their debut full-length offering, “Upon Stygian Wings”, to be released on October 1st. The album was recorded in the early months of 2026 at Upside Records and later mixed and mastered by Frozen Gate Kult. All music and lyrics were crafted by Stryga, except: “To Dusk, the Fell Harbinger” and “Stirring of the Second Soul”, composed and performed by Thelema. Guest solo on “Cursed from the Pit” was performed by Tenebrous Nightshade of Vile Thirst/Necralant. The front cover art , “Seeing Stars”, was crafted by Luciana Nedelea.

The musicians state: “Behold! The Stryga rises from its tomb to take flight upon stygian wings! We present our debut album: ten hymns of black metal despair forged in the fires of crust. Defy the empires of tyrrants. Embrace the old dakrness within yourself and find enlightenment”.
