From the shadowed depths of the Chilean black metal underground, NIGREDO present their second full-length “Archer XIII” – an uncompromising descent into death, decay, and the inevitable dissolution of all earthly existence. Copies of the album are available here via the labels Death’s Ovations (Tape) and Schattenkult Produktionen (CD): https://deathsovations.bandcamp.com & https://schattenkultproduktionen.bandcamp.com. The cover artwork & the illustration were crafted by Trauerkult & Nox Fragor.
Embracing an atmosphere steeped in occult mysticism and spiritual darkness, the album expands upon the foundations of its predecessor while revealing a more mature and refined artistic vision. Relentless yet immersive, Nigredo forges a sound where savage riffs, haunting melodies, and ritualistic intensity converge into a bleak and hypnotic experience.
The band’s evolution is evident throughout every composition, balancing raw aggression with deeper dynamics and a stronger sense of atmosphere without abandoning the essence of true black metal. This is a significant step forward in Nigredo’s path of darkness, standing as a testament to unwavering dedication to the underground spirit. A solemn journey through death, ruin, and transcendence – all crafted for those who seek black metal l in its purest and most authentic form.
