In Twilight’s Embrace is a captivating Polish black metal band from Poznan, whose sound from their debut performances certainly evokes a variety of emotions with its skillful composition and raw, but at the same time perfected production.

In their albums, the band relies heavily on philosophical questions about delusions, doubts, darkness and the difficulties faced by the human individual, death and everything else in those darkened opaque corners of consciousness, as the musicians intertwine all this through the prism of black metal and thought-provoking lyrics – some in their native Polish, others in English.

In Twilight’s Embrace is one of the proud representatives of the Polish black metal scene, strictly following the traditions of the local underground, boldly standing next to names such as Mgla, Blaze of Perdition, Manbryne, Kriegsmaschine and others. Their music fits perfectly into the whirlwind of emotions, harshness and epicness that has emerged in Poland in recent years and uncompromisingly conquers the minds and hearts of loyal fans of the genre around the world.

„Lifeblood“ is a definite proof of the above statement.
In just over forty-seven minutes, the musicians take us through different atmospheres and moods, relying on both the raw black metal sound and the melodic structures.
In addition, ritualistic passages and an 80’s old-school breath, much like the first wave of black with a lot of rock elements, give a sense of soaring around the space and leave us weightless in certain segments of the album.

Ethereal atmospheres are intertwined with raw vocals, performed emotionally, with a huge charge of malice and outright rage, ready as if to tear the carotid artery of the listener with its sharp teeth, and in parallel with them we can hear speech, chants and other spectacular performances, giving an unearthly charge to the record.

A completely unorthodox experience, the album sounds special and grasps with its blasphemous nature, offering us the opportunity to enjoy a primordial black metal sound combined with rock and heavy metal influences presented with taste and rich imagination, while giving voice to profound messages.
I think this is one of the most diverse and at the same time, direct and attention-grabbing works of the band so far.

Developing the theme of the nature of suffering and rejection of faith, In Twilight’s Embrace offers a fierce black metal opus that combines a variety of massive and more ethereal influences, including beautiful cold guitars that take us to another dimension.
An album that uncompromisingly presents strong music writing skills, depth and painfully candid atmosphere.
