The Serbian black metal band NADSVEST released their debut full-length album, “Slovo meseca i krvi”, today. The album is distributed through Soulseller Records in CD, vinyl, and digital formats (https://soulsellerrecords.bandcamp.com).
NADSVEST, consisting of Serbian musician “S” (Gorgoroth) and New Zealander “A” (Barshesketh), is an intense combination of first and second-wave black metal with fierce doses of heavy metal and nods to Serbian folk music. The lyrical themes explore the dark arts through the lens of the more sinister aspects of Serbian folklore. Conceptually, Slovo meseca i krvi is an epic poem that delves into the stages of awakening the primal force of the werewolf within a warrior, the triumph of the spirit, and the ultimate sacrifice of the flesh. The sound was crafted at Sonorous Studio with the aim of evoking the noise of a tormented soul.
