Agalloch drummer Hunter Ginn, who joined the legendary band in
2023, has unveiled more details about his newly founded project,
Plague Psalm, and its future.
Hunter Ginn shared more about the upcoming
release:
“I am thrilled to announce that Plague Psalm will be releasing
its first full length album, ‘II: Gifts of Wrath’ through the great
Crucial Blast label, whose output and aesthetics I have admired for
ages. The album will be released digitally and on cassette and will
be available through CB’s Bandcamp page. In the words of the label:
“Blending huge bass-driven dirge with a raucous rush of ritualistic
drumming, bursts of symphonic noise, huge drones drenched in
sulphuric shadow, and glimpses of something just beyond the veil,
this is heavy, hypnotic, and apocalyptic music.”
