Serbian black metal act In Cold Silence returns after 20 years of quiescence

In Cold Silence – one of the oldest Serbian  black metal acts, is coming out from the nest with a new single from their upcoming and  long (indeed) awaited EP.

Founded by Fog and Mrki, from the ashes of Nokturnal, a band that didn’t release anything officially, but were known to have played live. During this period, the band’s first song “Eternal Winter’s Night” was also written, but was finished only after the name change.

At some point after the first demo was released, they also penned some other, officially unreleased songs, such as “Black Wings of My Dreams”, “Forgotten Years”, “The Endless Abyss of Hate”, “Nocturnal (The Vision of Darkness)”, “In Cold Silence” and “Embraced by the Colors of the Night”. These, along with a cover of “Transilvanian Hunger” by Darkthrone, were recorded during a rehearsal session, likely during 2005. Although the tape with the tracks has since been lost, it is known that at least one surviving copy exists.

They were also known to have been on hold for short periods of time during their existence as a band.
As of 2024, the band reformed, and is more than  ready to devour your senses with their unique sound.

After 20 years of silence, In Cold Silence are proud to present their return with the song “NOCTURNAL”! Witness their powerful comeback below:
