Ukrainian black metal horde Khors presents their new album, “Letters To The Future Self”

The Kharkiv-based black metal band Khors has released their  eighth full-length album, “Letters To The Future Self”, today!
The album is  available in a variety of formats, including CD, three unique vinyl editions, cassette, and digital versions, via the renowned Drakkar Productions.

“Letters To The Future Self” promises to be a monumental chapter in Khors’ already impressive discography, combining their deep spirit, Ukrainian roots,  signature atmospheric sound with a forward-looking intensity.

The album was recorded at The Base Studio in Kyiv, with Alex Kasiarum behind the soundboard, ensuring every element was captured with precision. The mixing was expertly handled by Dmitry Kim, while the final touches of mastering were entrusted to the legendary Dan Swanö at his Unisound Studio in Germany—a name synonymous with sonic excellence.

Lyrics were  writen by several poets : Khorus (1, 2, 4), Maria Kapinus (5, 8) and Viktor Vrajendra (3).
Lyric for ” Zmiyevi Valy” (6) is written by Yuriy Ruf (26.09.1980 – 01.04.2022) and the author of  “Freezing Touch of Siren” (7) is  Volodymyr Vakulenko (01.07.1972 – ??.??.2022).

With this new offering, Khors continues to solidify their place as one of Eastern Europe’s most compelling black metal acts, bridging the profound and the personal in their music. “Letters To The Future Self”  is another testament of the poetic souls  fighting for freedom and justice, soon to be witnessed by the world. Fascinating narrative of resistance and resilience.
