Spectral Lore has unleashed a new demo record, titled ‘IV(Part 1)’

The Greek atmospheric black metal enitty Spectral Lore has unleashed its new demo record, titled IV(Part 1), in the last minutes of December 31st last year.

A statement from the musician:
“As some of you know, I’ve been working in the next “numerical series” Spectral Lore album for quite some time now. I’ve had the not so smart idea of announcing the release of what eventually turned out to be an 160 minute album (note to never do that again in the future) for the second consecutive year, and even though I obviously haven’t managed to accomplish that again, I’m at a good enough place to release the first part. Just bear in mind that it’s a little rough around the edges. It’s unmastered and I I need to do some additional mixing, but I’m so close to finishing it that I thought it was a good idea to go along with the plan and present at least half of the album. So, treat this as something of a preview – those of you that want to listen to the absolute optimal version right away, you might want to wait for the release of the whole album.
I’m going to reupload a version with some tweaks/improvements in the first one or two weeks of 2025 and then I’ll go right ahead to working on the second part and the final version. The music is done for the second part, but unfortunately it’s still pretty far behind production wise. My goal is to be finished around March or April, but, as usually, take it with a grain of salt.

If you wonder why it takes me that long btw, I’m doing music in a 10 year old computer with a 20 year old sound card, broken plug-ins, old instruments and cheap equipment. For better or worse, this is amateur music by amateur musicians, so thanks for your understanding.
