RIETAS, the demonical one-man black metal project of Ari XIII from the beasts Curse Upon A Prayer, is now unveiling the second  track from its upcoming debut full-length album, “Torne Valley Black Metal”. The album will be released on CD & LP on October 31st through KVLT Finland (https://kvlt.fi).

Rietas is a Finnish word which in torne valley dialect (or Meänkieli), can be translated as the devil. The project was created during the pandemics and released its first demo, “Vaikainen”,  in November 2020. Later, in 2023, Rietas participated in a split album, called “Loimus”,  with another Finnish sole black metal entity –  Riivaus. Now, two years later Rietas comes back to the foreground with its first full-length offering, unleashing  its full arsenal of malicious force.

Raw and uncompromising, the album stands as a quintessential wall of Finnish black metal sound – a surge of demonically possessed invocations wrapped in a chilling, captivating atmosphere. Its haunting ambience pulls the listener deep into the valley of a cold, mystic land, riddled with shadows and dark corners waiting to be explored.
