Hungarian atmospheric black metal band WitcheR returns with  their  fourth full-length “Öröklét”, out today via Filosofem records & Beverina.

Drawing inspiration from legendary acts such as Summoning, early Dimmu Borgir and Wolves in the Throne Room, WITCHER channel a sound that is both atmospheric and deeply evocative, delving into the old worlds of the folklore and the wandering ancestral spirits.

All music was recorded at Vrag’s Forest Studio and was later engineered, mixed and mastered by WitcheR. All of the tracks were written by WitcheR, except Piano Trio No. 2 – Andante con moto (work of Franz Schubert). The album artwork was crafted by Grafit & Hamu Artworks.

Speaking about the concept, the band states: “We wanted to transport the listener into a world where music is not only heard, but also seen and deeply felt.”
