Once again, HANDFUL OF HATE are back with another trip to the darkest hell. After almost seven years from their previous, great “Adversus”, the tuscanian legion brings forth another fast, brutal and technical black metal record in the best tradition of the second wave of black metal. The ingredients are the same: high-velocity blast beats and a relentless wall of sound, complex guitar riffs, sharp production, and their celebrated range of lyrical themes: misanthropy, sexual deviance and hatred for christianity.

The production, still sharp and aggressive, is nonetheless a little rawer than in the past linking this album more with the first phase of HANDFUL OF HATE career than other polished episodes. Through the eight tracks of “Soulless Abominations”, one of the most prominent italian black metal acts is back with a vengeance!

HANDFUL OF HATE formed in 1993 in Lucca, Tuscany. After all these years, they are widely respected in the underground scene for their uncompromising sound and aesthetic: records such as “Qliphotic Supremacy”, “Vicecrown” or “Adversus” are neither gone nor forgotten. Now it’s timme for “Soulless Abominations”!
