Hailing from Portugal, the enigmatic entity GINNUNGAGAP reveals an incantation, extracted from its latest demo offering, “Primordial Celestial Light”. In Norse mythology, Ginnungagap (old Norse: [ˈɡinːoŋɡɑˌɡɑp]; “gaping abyss”, “yawning void”) is the primordial, magical void, mentioned in three poems from the Poetic Edda and the Gylfaginning, the Eddaic text recording Norse cosmogony. Recorded last year, “Primordial Celestial Light” comes to an end, an ending that marks a beginning, where the primordial essence of Ginnungagap awakens. Hypnotic, haunted, and majestic black metal in its rawest form. The demo recording is out via Harvest of Death (division of Signal Rex) and is limited to 50 pro-manufactured marble brown cassette with black on-body print.
