Ukrainian swordsman Këkht Aräkh has unveiled the first glimpse into his upcoming third full-length offering, “Morning Star”, to be released on March 26th via Sacred Bones Records. All music was recorded between Berlin and Stockholm, with Nick from IC3PEAK hosting the recording sessions in Berlin. The sound design and the tape processing was handled by Varg2™ (of VS–55), Spöke (of VS–55) , while the mastering was handed to James Ginzburg (of Emptyset, Osmium). Along with Crying Orc – the mastermind behind the project who took care of all instruments and vocals, J.S. (aka Spira me, of Vanskapth, Olycka) took the role behind the drums. Except him, also other musicians took part in the crafting of the sound of “Morning Star”: Bladee with vocals and lyrics on track 11, Spöke with vocals, lyrics, organ, flute and piano on track 4 and backing vocals, organ, flute, piano on track 12, Varg2™ with background ambience on track 2, 8 & 17, Eurohead with background ambience on tracks 2, 8 & 17 and last, but not least – Spöke added some background ambience on tracks 2, 8 & 17. The cover art photo was taken by Marina Iurcheva.
Above the veil of the nocturnal desires and solemn essence of the night, the Morning Star shines bright, revealing the secrets of the shadows, where a wadering soul breaks free, soaring among the gates of forgotten ruins. As the Morning Star crowns the Night… it transforms everything.
