Hailing from Austria, blackened death metal band GRAUFAR reveal a new glimpse into their forthcoming second full-length  album “VIA NECROPOLIS”, to be released on March 20th, independently by the band in several digital formats.

GRAUFAR was founded in 2020 in Linza, Austria. On April 13th, 2024, the band released their well received independent debut album ‘SCORDALUS.’ In the same year, GRAUFAR won the Wacken Metal Battle Austria and went on to place ninth in the international finals at Wacken Open Air. Upcoming album ‘VIA NECROPOLIS’ is an uncompromising release born of vicious extremity, speedy grooves, urgent solos and brutal vocals. Lyrically, the album explores themes such as social criticism, the darker side of human nature, transience and death.
