The Italian black metal magicians Opera IX reveal a new glimpse into their forthcoming title, “Veneficium”, to be released on May 22 by Edged Circle Productions.The music for the album was recorded at Elfo Studios, ADSR Decibel Studio, Occultum Studio and Daemon Star Studio between November 2025 and January 2026, while the mix and mastering duties were handled by Algol at Daemon Star Studio.

Opera IX state: “‘Veneficium’ is a pilgrimage through the labyrinth of the dark arts, a botanical dominion that only the wisdom of women dared to master. These are the echoes of a primal past that still thrum within our blood and resonate in our souls ensuring that such a legacy shall never be surrendered to oblivion.”
