Hailing from Poland, PIOŁUN return with their second full-length offering, “Exolvuntur”, out now via Malignant Voices (https://malignantvoiceswebshop.bigcartel.com).
Piołun is a black metal band inspired musically by the Scandinavian and Polish black metal sound of the 90’s with a hint of nowadays black metal, and also represents the musical legacy of Oremus, composed by Sorh. The founder of Piołun – Sorh, is also known as XCIII – the guitarist of Blaze of Perdition, Oremus and Manbryne – all names that you must have already heard a lot about, but due to some line-up changes as well as slightly dierent lyrical concept that didn’t fit quite well into these endevours, the musician decided to create an entire new entity in 2019, with the debut full-length of Piołun, “Rzeki goryczy”, arriving three years later. Establisihing themselves as an authentic torch bearers, Piołun now come with their second full-length title, “Exolvuntur” – a piece of art to embody themes of release, death, life cycles and dissolving of illusions and mysteries.
