Finnish black thrash metallers BEATRIX reveal the first glimpse into their forthcoming offering. The self titled song “Beatrix” is the first single from the upcoming full length concept album the band has been building on since it’s incarnation in 2019. It’s about becoming something greater – a praying mantis queen born from human flesh, which also answers the question of where the band’s name comes from.

BEATRIX is known as a furious and energetic live band in the Finnish underground, playing nightmarish black thrash metal with skull crushing riffs, haunting melodies and demonic vocals. After a successful Baltic tour with fellow maniacs JÄVELIN and NIGHT SLASHER a new song has been battle tested and is ready to be unleashed on the bleeding eardrums of the unsuspecting listeners.

The album will be released next year on Diabolic Might Records, with more details to be revealed in the months to come. In the meanwhile BEATRIX will join Japan’s BARBATOS on tour for 5 support shows in Finland and Estonia.
