Enigmatic Swedish Black Metal collective DET EVIGA LEENDET sign a deal with Debemur Morti Productions for the release of their forthcoming third album, “Vehemence“!
Emerging from Uppsala in 2015 and taking their name from Pär Lagerkvist‘s 1920 novel of the same name, DET EVIGA LEENDET spent their formative years shaping a musical language all their own. The band’s acclaimed 2018 debut “Lenience” emerged via Fallen Empire Records, followed four years later by second album “Reverence” which saw Jacob Buczarski (MARE COGNITUM) as new vocalist and was released by Mystískaos. Johan G. Winther is responsible for the band’s distinctive visual identity and accompanying album paintings.
DET EVIGA LEENDET have carved a unique and introvert path through contemporary Black Metal: always aiming for a place where beauty and suffocation exist side by side. This tension is pushed further still on “Vehemence“, where clarity, disorientation, violence and bleak inevitability combine into fervent and melancholic Art.
“Vehemence” will be released via Debemur Morti Productions later in 2026. More info will follow shortly.
