German black metal band The Aeons Torn reveal a new glimpse into their upcoming second full-length album, “Void Artefakkts”, to be released on November 27th.
With “Void Artefakkts”, The Aeons Torn explore the point where scientific understanding about the universe collides with cosmic horror. Heavy, slow-moving Doom passages give way to explosive Black Metal eruptions. Across the album, screams, deep growls, and clean vocals shift between dread and despair. Spoken-word passages built around scientific quotations deepen the record’s sense of a vast universe whose greatest mysteries remain beyond human understanding.

Tracklist:
01. Amid the Daemon Flutes
02. Echoes of the Darkspace
03. Rite of Dread
04. Ring of Starlit Madness
05. Whispers from the Void
06. The Dreamer Beneath Europa’s Tide
Delve into the track “Echoes of the Darkspace” below:
“Echoes of the Darkspace” shows the slow and heavy side of the new album. Built on crushing Doom Metal riffs and a dark atmosphere, the track moves through the emptiness of space. Lyrically, it reflects on the Fermi Paradox: if the universe is so vast and old, why has humanity found no clear sign of intelligent life beyond Earth? Between
cosmic horror and scientific thought, “Echoes of the Darkspace” asks what humanity does not know, and whether it truly wants the answer. Following the first single, “Rite of Dread”, the track offers another glimpse of Void Artefakkts, where Black Metal intensity meets Doom-laden weight and the unknowns of the universe become a source of fear.
