Hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria, Thornhammer reveal their debut demo offering, “Blood Against Gold”, out now via the Bulgarian label Hellvetic Carnage.
Thornhammer is a new Bulgarian black metal band from Sofia. The project is one of the many ventures of the vicious lord of the new wave of Bulgarian black metal Todorac (Smyrtonos, Haavrun, ex-Opiumortem, ex-Gibel, ex-Kinzhal, ex-Likantropiya, ex-Psoglav, ex-Löwenblut, Thornhammer, ex-Izgnanik, ex-Corruptedblackveins, ex-Fangehull, ex-Wormtomb), and is built around themes of hatred, nihilism, and aggression. With a lineup consisting of Todorac (drums), Nosgod (guitars), and Nordsoldat (vocals), Thornhammer rises above the mire with a clear and strong first manifesto.
