On October 31st, Polish black metal veterans Black Altar will celebrate their 30th Anniversary with an exclusive UK performance at The Garage in London. Presented by The Red Devil Promotions, the event brings together an exceptional international line-up for an evening dedicated to one of the underground’s most enduring names.
Appearing as very special guests, Norway’s Urgehal will make a rare UK appearance, adding further significance to an already remarkable occasion. Renowned for their uncompromising approach to Norwegian black metal, Urgehal’s presence reflects the longstanding respect shared between the two bands and underscores the importance of this anniversary celebration.
Completing the line-up are French black metal stalwarts Merrimack and a triumvirate of the UK’s own finest purveyors of the black metal arts – Godking, Heathen Deity, and Necro Ritual, creating a bill that spans four countries and several generations of extreme metal.
For Black Altar, the concert marks not only thirty years of musical activity but also three decades of dedication to the black metal underground. From their beginnings in Poland during the mid-1990s to their continued international presence, the band has built a reputation through uncompromising artistic vision, carefully crafted releases, and memorable live performances. Rather than looking back, the anniversary concert celebrates the continued vitality of the underground scene. By bringing together respected artists from across Europe, the event reflects the enduring strength of black metal and the international community that has supported it for more than three decades. The Red Devil Promotions is proud to present this one-off UK event at The Garage, providing fans with a rare opportunity to witness Black Altar’s anniversary performance alongside one of Norway’s most respected black metal acts and an outstanding supporting line-up.
