After two highly praised full-length offerings : “Lenience” (2018) and “Reverence” (2022) , Swedish black metal collective DET EVIGA LEENDET announce their visceral third album and debut under the banner of Debemur Morti Productions. “Vehemence” pushes the band’s melancholic tension further and into broader terrain: churning and urgent post-Metal guitars, radiant leads and mesmeric rhythms propel wounded, hyper-emotive songcraft sustained by elemental roars.
The album was recorded by Kristofer Jönson and Jacob Buczarski, mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (CULT OF LUNA, ULCERATE) who has helped shape the band’s sound since the beginning. The artwork was designed by Johan G Winther – a long time cooperation partner of the band –, and the layout by Yurii Kazarian (WHITE WARD). Lyrically, the record covers themes DET EVIGA LEENDET have explored since inception: collapse is the only constant, perception hardens into conviction, conviction into detachment, and what is witnessed is no longer filtered through empathy but via hopeless inevitability.

As a first taste, DET EVIGA LEENDET present “Avail”, the album’s only single. The track is a vivid demonstration of the band’s trademark ability to merge crushing force with melancholic beauty.
